Jeffrey J. Romero is the founding partner of J. Romero Wealth Advisors based in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Jeff started his financial services career in 1991 and has worked at large wall street firms, Shearson Lehman Brothers, UBS Financial Services and Wells Fargo Advisors. He holds his Finra Series 7 and Series 63 with LPL Financial and the Series 65 with Stratos Wealth Advisors. Jeff is insurance licensed in Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas and California (California Insurance License # 0G68836).  Jeff is constantly working to improve his knowledge of the financial markets and received his education from the University of New Mexico, Arizona State University and the College for Financial Planning. Jeff holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation (CRPC®) as well as the Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) which is a professional designation awarded by the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC) to financial advisors able to meet the high standards of education and experience that are required of its members in addition to being a Five Star Wealth Manager Award recipient in Phoenix (2015-2020).

Jeff focuses on wealth management planning services for high net worth individuals, as well as corporate and government retirement plans. Jeff's specializes in wealth planning issues such as investor needs analysis, risk management, portfolio construction, outside investment manager due diligence, asset allocation, insurance reviews and estate planning strategies.

Jeff is very active in the non-profit community, the Past President/Board Member of (ALPFA) Association of Latino Professionals in Finance & Accounting- Phoenix chapter, current board member of the New Mexico Philharmonic, a former board member of Casa Esperanza and has also been involved with Chances for Children AZ, Active 20/30 Club and numerous other community organizations in New Mexico and Arizona.  Jeff and his wife Vanesa have been active in financial literacy programs for under-represented minority students throughout the southwest.

Active in all sports, Jeff has completed over thirty half marathons and marathons and has enjoyed coaching little league baseball and softball.
