I’m a Financial Advisor with over 25 year’s experience in the financial industry to include Commercial, Life and Annuity, Health, and Disability Insurance, Investment Services, Financial/Retirement Planning and Banking. As an Advisor at Stratos Wealth Partners I work through LPL Financial to provide clients the tools they need to pursue their serious long and short term financial goals. I get to know my clients personally as well as professionally to understand their goals and dreams and to better assist them in working toward their goals.

I spent several years with a large brokerage firm prior to becoming an independent advisor. It was my desire to be able to place my clients’ needs first, without the distraction and pressure to sell products in order to meet proprietary sales goals. Being an independent advisor has offered me the freedom to place the best interests of the client, front and center.

Before my career as a financial advisor, I worked for a large locally owned insurance company in Cleveland, Ohio for over 18 years as an Insurance Underwriter and Commercial Agent. I sold and serviced the Liability, Fidelity, E&O, Fiduciary and Employment Practices insurance products for financial institutions working directly with senior executives and officers of these institutions and local insurance agents across the country. Prior to this, I worked for a large bank in Cleveland, Ohio.

My Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality Management was earned from Purdue University. My MBA in Finance was earned from Kent State University. My qualifications include both registrations and licenses as follows: the Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations through LPL Financial, and state insurance licenses for Life, Health, Variable Annuity and Property & Casualty Insurance. I am registered in OH, MI, VA, NC, and FL and hold state Insurance licenses in OH and MI.

Volunteer work is an important part of my life and I have done volunteer work for the Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland and have served in several capacities at the Brecksville United Methodist Church. I have chaired the Board of Trustees, Finance Committee, and the Gifts and Memorials Committee, served on the Youth Board, and have worked on several fund raising events for the church.

I live in Brecksville, OH with my husband Dave and our two family dogs. My two children, Melissa and Daniel, are both in college. My personal interests include biking, gardening, cooking and music. As the daughter of a U.S. Army officer, I was born in Germany and have lived in Panama and in 5 states within the U.S. I enjoy traveling and meeting interesting people.

My Motto: The depth of the relationship I build with a client is the key to building the level of trust needed to fully understand and service a client’s ongoing life changing needs.
