Kerry has more than 35 years of capital markets experience, having held positions dealing with almost all aspects of Wall Street, from IPOs and investment management to investor relations.

He has been a registered financial advisor since 2002, having joined Stratos Wealth Partners in 2022. In his role as Financial Consultant at Stratos Wealth Partners, he is responsible for managing portfolios, financial planning and retirement plans for his clients.

Prior to Stratos, Kerry served as a financial advisor with UBS and McDonald Partners, having left a position as Vice President of Investor Relations for Teligent Inc., a publicly-traded telecommunications service provider in Washington, DC.

Kerry began his post-MBA career in the corporate finance group at E. F. Hutton & Company Inc. in New York, working on a wide range of public and private securities offerings, and he subsequently spent over 10 years in the telecom industry in senior financial positions.

He started his professional career as a commissioned officer in the U. S. Coast Guard, serving on active duty for five years in operational and staff positions.

Kerry holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business with a major in finance, and is a graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy with a Bachelor of Science in management.

He has served as an adjunct instructor of finance in Bachelors and Masters degree granting programs at Lorain County (Ohio) Community College.   Kerry holds Series 7 and 66 through LPL Financial and Series  31 and 79 through Stratos Wealth Partners, as well as Ohio and Virginia life and health insurance licenses.

Heavily involved in the community, Kerry is currently a member of the Board of Directors of The Cleveland Rowing Foundation.

Kerry has been married for more than 35 years and enjoys rowing, reading and having fun with his wife and daughter.
