Michael has been in the financial services industry since 1999 serving high net worth and institutional clients throughout North America.  Prior to his role as an Institutional Advisor, he managed his own hedge fund.  For the 22 years prior to 1999 Michael managed his family machine company serving  as CFO and President.

He graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and furthered his post-graduate education in the Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Akron.

Michael’s previous experience, successes, and education gives him the depth of knowledge to assist his clients in developing personalized and effective financial strategies.  Michael’s ability to develop these strategies considering their  specific financial needs, long term goals, tolerance for risk and fiduciary concerns is best fulfilled by being an independent wealth advisor.

His status as an independent wealth advisor means he is not pressured by anyone to sell certain financial products or meet sales quotas. He is free to search the marketplace and recommend financial programs that are driven strictly by his clients’ needs and best interests. Dealing with him, clients receive a comprehensive, objective, well-thought-out financial strategy, not a sales pitch.

Michael’s level of community involvement is unrelenting. He has been deeply involved in charitable activities for such organizations as:  UofA Scholarship Program, UofA Foundation, UofA Business College, Diocese of Cleveland, United Way, and The first Distinguished Chair at the UofA College of Business. He is a past board member for: Boy Scouts of America, First Tee of Akron, Ohio Ballet, Akron Civic Theater, Association for Retarded Citizens, and other charitable boards.

Michael is an accomplished snow skier and billiards player and admits to occasionally enjoying a fine cigar.  His driving passion when he is not assisting his clients is giving back to the Community through his many endeavors.

Michael and his wife, Kathy-Ann, have been married for over 15 years. They enjoy spending time together with their dog, extensive travel and their community involvement.
